Good News! Acomb SC Receives council grant!
The committee are delighted to announce that following a submission to City of York Council we have been successful in receiving £61,705 !
The money has been awarded to undertake much needed building works.
We will firstly be reroofing the clubhouse, and work has already begun by the contractors.
The existing asphalt covering is 20 yrs old and the new glass fibre insulated covering will provide a watertight covering for many years to come, as well as improving the thermal efficiency of the building.
We also intend to use the funding to carry out much needed repairs and refurbishment of the drive and car park, hopefully in the new year.
